and close relationship has had some fans thinking a reunion was in the works for the exes, but a source exclusively tells In Touch that her boyfriend,, isn’t worried.

“Yes, [Ben and Jen] hug a lot and show physical affection. And while there’s a lot of people hoping they’ll get back together, it’s not going to happen. Jen is happy that Ben has finally found inner peace, but she’s in love with John,” the insider says. “Of course John gets a ton of questions from his friends about Jen and Ben’s relationship, some even think he should be worried. Most men wouldn’t be thrilled to see their girlfriend in an intimate embrace with her ex, but John knows the truth.”

The source continues, “He knows Jen is loyal to him and can also be there for the father of her children. That’s just who Jen is. It’s not for everyone, but John is very confident in what he has with Jen. He’s not concerned.”

Ever since rumors began swirling in May 2024 that Ben, 52, and his ex-wife were heading for divorce, the Good Will Hunting star seemed to be leaning on the 13 Going on 30 actress, 52. While Ben was staying in his Brentwood mansion and J. Lo, 55, was in their former Beverly Hills home, Jen was seen going to check on the Argo producer.

After Ben and J. Lo’s divorce was finalized in August 2024, he and Jen reunited to spend Thanksgiving together with their three kids, Violet, 19, Seraphina “Fin,” 16, and Samuel, 13. They were also together again for the holidays when they celebrated Christmas.

“Jen and Ben were all together for Christmas,” a source told People at the time. “It’s all for the kids. Jen grew up surrounded by her family for the holidays, and she wants the same for her kids.”

The former Alias star and Ben were married from 2005 to 2018, but an insider revealed to In Touch that their relationship has really started to improve since his split from the “Let’s Get Loud” singer.

“[Jennifer] and Ben are probably at the best place in their relationship right now. They’ve been through so much together, but they’ve stayed family focused during the ups and downs,” the source explained on December 31, 2024. “They both put their kids first, and they genuinely like each other.”

The insider added, “He credits her for being supportive, which she didn’t have to do, and never dogging him out to their children. Yes, she’s had to be brutally honest at times about their father, but it was always done in an empathetic and loving way. Violet, [Fin] and Samuel have a wonderful relationship with their dad, they adore him. Ben will always be grateful to Jen for that.”

Despite some people’s hopes for them to get back together, the following month a separate insider told In Touch that there was no reconciliation on the horizon.

“They’re not getting back together. Jen laughs off those rumors, even though that’s the Hollywood ending everyone hopes for,” the source said on January 2. “Jen is still dating John and Ben is very supportive of that. Ben’s single and just taking life one day at a time. They’re far from perfect, but Jen and Ben are a great example of how coparenting should work.”
