Joe Jonas Reveals Ultimate Coachella Party Secrets: Kid Cudi, Aperol Spritz, and More!

Aperol, the iconic Italian aperitif, made a significant return to Coachella for its fourth consecutive year, elevating the festival experience with an immersive activation known as the Aperol Day Club. This year, the brand opted for a vibrant 'darty' — a daytime party — offering festival-goers a free, engaging space to relax and socialize. The Aperol Day Club featured an array of attractions, including live DJ sets, pop-up beauty salons, captivating immersive installations, and, naturally, a wide selection of Aperol-forward drinks.
To mark the grand launch of this exclusive club, Aperol collaborated with none other than Joe Jonas, the beloved musician and known enthusiast of the Aperol Spritz. Jonas was enlisted to host a surprise, exclusive party on a Friday, bringing his signature energy to the event. Ahead of the surprise gathering, Jonas shared his long-standing affection for the drink in an exclusive interview with Billboard, stating, “I’ve been giving [Aperol] free promo for years. I always have one in my hand, so it’d be fun to be able to do stuff with them. And the party is gonna be great.”
Joe Jonas took his role as host seriously, dedicating time to prepare for his Aperol Day Club debut. He meticulously crafted “a pretty extensive playlist” tailored for the occasion, confident that the music selection would resonate with attendees. Among the tracks he was particularly eager to play was Kid Cudi’s electrifying “Pursuit of Happiness” remix from Project X. When discussing his ultimate party track, Jonas emphatically noted, “That remix always. I think I’ve seen him perform that version at Coachella.”
Beyond the music, Jonas shared his philosophy for a truly successful party, identifying several key ingredients. These include a competent and engaging host, an ample supply of quality beverages (with Aperol Spritz being his preferred choice), excellent music to set the mood, strategic lighting (“that’s always key” he emphasized), and, most importantly, good vibes. As he geared up to host the epic event at the Aperol Day Club, Jonas conveyed high expectations for both himself and the overall atmosphere of the party. He expressed his hope that the event would “kick things off in the right way,” allowing guests to depart on Monday morning with lasting memories, perhaps even saying, “My highlight of my weekend was sharing a drink with that friend, Joe.” The event, reported by Emily Fuentes, showcased a seamless blend of brand activation and celebrity engagement, reinforcing Aperol's presence at one of the world's most prominent music festivals.
