Handle Recruitment are looking for a highly creative and motivated Marketing Manager to join our award winning producer of investment conferences.

6 Month FTC or Permanent role

4 days a week in office, 1 day at home

Our client is a multiple award-winning producer of investment conferences for Africa's energy sector. Best known for the Africa Energy Forum, the longest running Forum for decision makers in Africa's power sector, they also produce region-specific investment meetings focusing on the power generation potential of some of the world's most exciting emerging markets.

Recent event locations include Nairobi, Barcelona, Miami, Cape Town, Brussels, Washington, and Arusha. The team consists of around 20 people who are all passionate about the work they do in a supportive and collaborative environment.

YES! is a new business within our client. YES! is not a traditional conference business, flexibility is important as we shape and grow the new portfolio. It is not easy, so attitude, resilience, and the ability to work with a team that is strategizing the business as we go along is crucial.

• Excellent communicator - great verbal and written communications skills that can translate complex data/technology in a simple way to a range of stakeholders.
• Must be able to travel for events when needed.
• French speaking is desirable but not essential.
• An interest in Africa's energy and infrastructure sector and youth employment, and a strong willingness to learn.
