Newly promoted Sportinvest Trapani Sharks (Serie A) re-signed 26-year old American 188cm guard JD Notae (college: Arkansas). He played there last season. In 27 Serie A games he averaged 13.5ppg, 2.9rpg, 3.2apg and 1.1spg. Good season as he was voted League Player of the Week.
He has played previously professionally in Greece (Aris Midea) and The Basketball Tournament (Team Arkansas).
Among many awards he won Italian Serie A2 Silver championship title in 2024. Notae received USBWA All-District VII Player of the Year award and was selected to USBWA All-America Honorable Mention back in 2022.
He graduated from University of Arkansas in 2022 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball. Notae played also for Jacksonville University for 2 years.
