Piratas de Quebradillas (BSN) agreed terms with 25-year old American (has also Italian passport) forward Grant Basile (206cm-107kg-2000, college: Virginia Tech). Basile played last season at Acqua S.Bernardo Cantu in Italian Serie A2. In 48 games he averaged 16.3ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.1apg. He helped them to win the Serie A2 title and the cup. Great season as he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A2 Domestic Player of the Year, Finals MVP and Forward of the Year.
He has played also professionally in Canada (Rattlers), Italy (Pistoia, Tortona and Orzinuovi) and The Basketball Tournament (Red Scare).
Basile graduated from Virginia Tech University in 2023 and it will be his third season as a professional player. He played also for Wright State University for 4 years.
