24-year old USA-ITAn forward Grant Basile (206-F-2000) had an amazing evening in the last round for Acqua S.Bernardo Cantu and receives a Hoops Agents Serie A2 Player of the Week award for round 36.
He had a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat Pesaro (#12, 19-17) 85-78. Cantu maintains the 3rd position in Italian Serie A2. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Cantu will need more victories to improve their 23-13 record. In the team's last game Basile had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Cantu's top player in his first season with the team. Grant Basile averages this season 16.3ppg and 5.4rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Ike Joseph Udanoh (207-C/F-1989) of

Urania Basket Milano. He is Nigerian-American in his first season at Milano Urania. In the last game Udanoh recorded an impressive double-double of 20 points and 14 rebounds. It was enough for Milano Urania to edge slightly higher-ranked Cividale (#7, 21-15) by 1 point 96-95. This victory allowed Milano Urania to move up to 8th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 20-16 record is not bad and everything may still change. Udanoh is a newcomer at Milano Urania and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Adrian Banks (191-SG-1986) of

Akern Libertas Livorno (#17). Banks got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for five assists. Despite Banks' great performance the Livorno Libertas lost 95-107 to slightly higher-ranked Juvi Cremona (#16, 13-23). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Banks has individually a great season in Italy. After 36 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.6ppg (7th best).
