Unica BluOrobica Bergamo (Serie B Interregionale) signed 33-year-old American 198cm power forward Dustin Hogue (college: Iowa State) for the upcoming season. He is not a newcomer in the Italian League as he played most recently at Acqua S.Bernardo Cantu in the Serie A2. In 32 games, he recorded 8.8ppg and 6.7rpg last season. Serie B Interregionale will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. He helped them to win the Serie A2 title and the cup. Great season indeed as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A2 Honorable Mention. The previous (2023-24) season he played at another Italian team SSD Real Sebastiani Rieti (Serie A).
Hogue is a very experienced player, having played professionally in Greece (Promitheas), Romania (Cluj Napoca), Russia (Enisey), Turkey (Pinar Karsiyaka), and Ukraine (Prometey).
Hogue graduated from Iowa State in 2016 and it'll be his tenth season in pro basketball. He played also for Indian Hills Community College for 2 years.
