An unprecedented and shocking event rocked the normally serene European principality of Monaco on Monday when a parcel bomb blast wounded at least three people. The explosion, which occurred around 9:00 pm local time in a residential building situated along Monaco's border with France, sent shockwaves through the community, prompting a swift and extensive security response.

Among those injured were a couple in their 50s or 60s, who sustained life-threatening injuries, and a 13-year-old teenager, whose injuries were less severe and who is believed to be related to the couple. Additionally, Ukrainian national Vadym Yermolaiev, a well-known Monaco resident and tycoon, was identified as one of the wounded. In the aftermath, emergency services also treated four other individuals for shock and cuts caused by shattered windows from the blast.
