Inlaks unveils new leadership position to drive next phase of growth, innovation
Inlaks, a leading systems integrator and ICT provider in Sub-Saharan Africa, said it has made a new appointment in its leadership position as it drives the next phase of growth and innovation.
The new leader is Charles Ifedi, who will serve as the new chief executive officer of Africa Operations.
Charles Ifedi, a seasoned business executive, technology consultant, and entrepreneur, brings over 25 years of global experience driving fintech innovation and delivering transformative digital solutions.
He succeeds Henry Okolo, interim chief executive officer, who returns to his earlier role as board director at Inlaks.

Mohammed Hayatudeen, chairman of Inlaks said the appointment of Charles Ifedi as the new Chief Executive Officer aligns perfectly with the company’s vision for growth and innovation.
According to him, the new chief executive officer has a proven track record of building and scaling technology-driven businesses.
“Beyond his entrepreneurial achievements and industry expertise, Charles has held strategic roles at American Express, PwC, and Accenture, with experience spanning Africa, Europe, and the United States. His expertise in fintech, digital transformation, and business strategy positions him to lead Inlaks into its next phase of expansion and innovation,” Hayatudeen said.
Charles Ifedi, while reacting to the new appointment, said he is excited to join Inlaks at such a pivotal time.

Charles holds a First-Class Honours degree in Computer Science from the University of Ilorin, an MBA from Cranfield University, UK, and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Georgia State University, USA. Under his leadership, Inlaks will accelerate its growth strategy, deepen market penetration, and reinforce its position as an industry leader.
He co-founded Interswitch, Africa’s foremost private electronic transaction switching and payment processing company, and served as the pioneer CEO of Verve International, where he led its growth into the continent’s leading card payments brand. He is also the founder of eBanqo, a conversational AI company revolutionising customer engagement and support operations.
