Indian Vibe-Coding AI Startup Rocket.new Lands $15M from Accel and Salesforce Ventures

Rocket.new, an innovative Indian startup, has successfully secured $15 million in a seed funding round, spearheaded by Salesforce Ventures, with additional participation from Accel and Together Fund. The capital injection aims to propel the company's AI-powered app development platform, designed to enable users to create full, production-ready applications from natural-language prompts. This positions Rocket.new as a formidable contender against existing 'vibe-coding' rivals like Lovable, Cursor, and Bolt, by moving beyond mere prototyping to comprehensive app development.
The seed round comes swiftly, just three months after the platform's beta launch in June. Since its debut, Rocket.new has demonstrated remarkable traction, amassing over 400,000 users, including more than 10,000 paid subscribers, across 180 countries. The company has also achieved an impressive $4.5 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) and is targeting a significant scale-up to $20–$25 million by the end of the year, with ambitions to reach $60–$70 million by June next year, as revealed by co-founder and CEO Vishal Virani.
