NEW DELHI Reuters) - India's Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the annual budget for fiscal 2025/26 on Saturday, aiming to boost farm production while focussing on increasing the spending power of the middle class to push growth.

Here are the highlights of the budget:

* Continuing geopolitical headwinds suggest lower global growth over medium term

* Taxation, power sector, urban development, mining, financial sector and regulatory reforms focus of budget

* To launch six year mission to boost pulses output

* To launch five year mission for cotton production

* Credit guarantee cover for small and medium firms enhanced to 100 million rupees

* Fund of funds to be set up for start-ups with government contribution of 100 billion rupees
