Ex-LG Boss Murdered in Bauchi

In Bauchi State, a former Chairman of Jama’are Local Government Area, Isa Muhammad-Wabi, was murdered at his residence in Fadaman Mada, behind Government Girls Secondary School, Bauchi. The Bauchi State Police Command reported that the incident occurred early Friday morning. According to the police, the 66-year-old victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances of his 24-year-old son, Abdulgafar Isa Mohammed. Preliminary investigations suggest that Ahmad Abdulkadir, also known as Abba, and Faruk Malami, referred to as Ajebo, entered the home around 3:00 a.m. and stabbed Mr. Wabi multiple times in the neck.
Police received a distress call around 4:03 a.m. and found Mr. Wabi in critical condition. He was taken to Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, Bauchi, but was pronounced dead. Ajebo, one of the suspects, was found unconscious at the scene, reportedly beaten by an angry resident, and also died in the hospital. Abdulgafar Isa Mohammed is in police custody and is cooperating with the investigation. The Commissioner of Police, CP Sani Omolori Aliyu, visited the family and assured them that the investigation would bring all responsible parties to justice.
In a separate incident in Sokoto State, the Gada Divisional Police Headquarters recovered 25 cattle suspected to be stolen or missing. Acting on a tip from local authorities, police in the Sabon Birni Local Government Area found the cattle in a dense forest. The recovery followed a report by Alhaji Muhammad Kyari about stray cattle. The cattle were moved to the Gada Division Headquarters, and the police are asking cattle owners to come forward with proof to claim their livestock.
Separately, a Redis connection error was reported, indicating that WordPress was unable to establish a connection to Redis due to incorrect connection information or an unreachable Redis server. Suggestions were provided to check the Redis host and port settings and to ensure the Redis server is running. Instructions were given to disable Redis by deleting the object-cache.php file in the /wp-content/ directory.
