Incoming Big 12 Freshman Listed Among Top 10 International CBB Prospects
Kansas State’s Andrej Kostic has already garnered NBA Draft interest as a player to watch in 2026, and it’s no secret as to why.
After a dominant showing at the 2025 Adidas Eurocamp, the Serbian wing was recently listed as one of the top ten international prospects in college basketball by 247Sports’ Grant Hughes.
Kostic elected to forgo the 2025 NBA Draft and enroll at Kansas State to play basketball for and company. The 6-foot-7 forward was one of the best players in Serbia last season, posting 13.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game with KK Dynamic.
Recently, Kostic shined at the Adidas Eurocamp, where he posted 34 points, three assists, and three rebounds in two games on 22 minutes per game.
“Andrej Kostic should settle in nicely as an off-ball shooter while adding another jumbo creator to Kansas State’s star-studded backcourt,” 247Sports’ said. “He’s not an exceptional athlete, but Kostic has a big frame to puncture defenses, make plays for others, or finish through contact. K-State doesn’t need him to be a star (it already has one in PJ Haggerty), but Kostic looks every bit the part of a potential day-one starter. He’s just 18, and the strength and athleticism of the college game will provide a bit of a proving ground, but Kostic is a tantalizing prospect with NBA appeal.”
The talented guard is expected to be a major contributor for Jerome Tang in 2025-26, as the group looks to return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2022-23.
