I'm A Celebrity: Eastenders Star Shona McGarty Arrives in Australia!

Preparations for the highly anticipated 25th series of ITV’s reality show, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, are well underway as several stars have begun arriving in Australia. Eastenders actress Shona McGarty, 34, was the third celebrity to touch down at Brisbane Airport, playfully remarking that she thought her flight was headed for Austria and expressing her eagerness to see a kangaroo. Her arrival signals the imminent start of the show, which is set to begin next Sunday.

Earlier the same day, Kelly Brook also arrived, all smiles and in high spirits. She humorously mentioned looking forward to seeing her “auntie Sheila” or “distant cousin” and was excited about surfing, as well as encountering Australian wildlife like koalas and kangaroos.

The speculated lineup for this milestone series continues to generate excitement. Other notable personalities expected to fly Down Under include Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley, YouTuber Morgan Burtwistle (known as Angryginge), musician Martin Kemp, comedian Ruby Wax, TV presenter Alex Scott, and Jack Osbourne. Additional participants are anticipated to be comedian Eddie Kadi, rapper Aitch, and presenter Vogue Williams. ITV is scheduled to formally announce the full line-up next week, with two further names expected to enter the jungle as latecomers.

The popular duo Ant and Dec are returning to host the hit series, which marks its quarter-century anniversary. Sources close to the production indicate that producers are making significant efforts to ensure this 25th series is the most memorable yet.

Amidst the excitement, there was recent speculation regarding LBC star Nick Ferrari, who reportedly pulled out of talks with ITV to join the show. The Mirror revealed that Ferrari’s radio bosses at Global matched his lucrative jungle fee, compelling him to reconsider his participation. Sources claimed that after Ferrari discussed his plans with his bosses, they pledged to match any fee, considering him a vital and well-loved part of the LBC schedule.
