Ghanaian-American singer, Moliy Ama Montgomery, popularly known as Moliy, has once again slammed critics on social media for body shaming her.

Moliy, in a post shared on July 18, 2025, sarcastically quizzed netizens if they have been able to secure money for their rents after body shaming her.

"Hope all of you spending your day talking about my body again got rent and due bills ready. We’re in the middle of the month, just a reminder, much love," she said.

Moliy, in a separate post, talked about how she is not perturbed by the controversies surrounding her body.

According to the singer, her focus is centred on how people, including pastors, are jamming to her much-anticipated "Shake It to The Max" song.

"If pastors can remix, shake it to the max, then you know that the vibrations are high up," she added.

Meanwhile, her post has attracted numerous social media reactions.

While some netizens have thrown their support behind the singer, others are still slamming her.

An account on X with user name @Bobby noted, "Why do you even pay attention to them?? Those who love you will still love you anyway. Live your life wai na, most of them are either broke, overweight, or just outright stupid."

Another netizen noted, "Lmao! Your clap back is as weak as your lyrics. People will get bored real quick with your kind of music. Maybe take some time off and upgrade your lyrics and get better songs out there, cos this one e be Inshallah dey carry am, no be by effort."
