Heroic Troops Thwart Benue Kidnap, Free Two Victims in Daring Rescue

Operatives of Sector 1, Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS), have successfully prevented a kidnapping incident and rescued two individuals in Konshisha Local Government Area of Benue State.
The incident, which unfolded around 8:19 a.m. on April 24, took place in the Agidi community within the Konshisha Local Government Area.
The sources reported that suspected kidnappers were in the process of carrying out their operation when a distress alert was received.
The OPWS troops responded swiftly and were promptly deployed to the location of the incident.
Upon the arrival of the security forces, the kidnappers, realizing their plan was thwarted, abandoned their victims and fled into the surrounding bushes, making their escape.
Following the timely intervention by the Sector 1 operatives, the two rescued individuals were safely reunited with their respective families.
