Harold "Harry" Osborn is a character in the Marvel Comics who was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. Harry appears in the Marvel Cinematic Universe animated series, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man as the friend to Peter Parker and the son of Norman Osborn, in a different universe from the 616, mainstream timeline.

Harry was born to Norman and an unknown woman (most likely Emily Osborn) and grew up loving social media and wanted to follow his father in the media path, quickly becoming a social media star and very popular.

Harry Osborn appears as a main character in the MCU show Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, in a universe where he is best friends with Peter Parker/Spider-Man instead of Ned Leeds. Like the comics, Harry's father Norman Osborn is the owner of Oscorp, where Peter is given an internship.

Harry's father Norman discovers Peter Parker is Spider-Man who saved his son from being jumped on in the first episode, but does not tell his son who his savior is. However, Spider-Man accidentally reveals his identity when he arrives at Oscorp tower and speaks to Norman, not realising Harry is sitting right beside his father. In the following episode, Harry is recruited to "team Spider-Man" by his father, much to Harry and Peter's dismay, as Norman thinks Harry could help Peter whenever Norman is unavailable to assist Parker. However, Harry and Spider-Man get along well and become friends, with Harry giving himself a nickname, like Ned Leeds who was "the guy in the chair" for Spider-Man in the main timeline.

Harry is invited to Peter's apartment with Nico, where Peter hopes that the two can be friends. They bond over their family losses, as Harry mentions his mother died a while back and Nico lives with a foster family. Harry comments that May is a cool mom, to which Peter says she is actually his aunt as he lost his mother years ago, to which Harry apologises. The trio then decide to watch a movie.

In "Tangled Web", Harry learns that Peter has been critically injured by the Scorpion and is instructed by his father to tell May that Peter spent the night at the Osborn house, so she doesn't learn he is Spider-Man. When Peter recovers, he visits the Osborn's and Harry and Peter keep an eye on the Scorpion's next moves as Peter is instructed to stay put for a while and not go out and be Spider-Man. Harry later reveals that he has been working on a new suit for Peter while he was in recovery, one that he had previously sketched out.

In "Hero or Menace" and "If This Be My Destiny...", Harry continues to assist Spider-Man and help him in any way he can. Now that Nico knows Peter is Spider-Man, the three spend time together at the Parker apartment and with encouragement from Nico, Harry decides to create his own company that will employee young geniuses
