Halle Bailey's Epic Debut: 'Love? Or Something Like It' Features Chlöe Reunion & Revealed Tracklist!

Halle Bailey is set to release her highly anticipated debut solo album, "Love? Or Something Like It," this week, with the full 15-track LP’s tracklist having been revealed on Monday, October 20. The album, which promises to delve into themes of first love, heartbreak, and everything that comes after, holds deep personal significance for Bailey.
The album features a stellar lineup of collaborations, marking a reunion with her sister and former bandmate Chlöe on the track “So I Can Feel Again.” Other notable collaborations include GloRilla on “Know Bout Me,” Mariah the Scientist on “Alone,” and H.E.R. on “No Warning.” These collaborations highlight Bailey’s versatility and her ability to work across various musical styles.
Bailey has a rich musical background, having previously appeared on “Want Me” from Chlöe’s 2024 sophomore album, "Trouble in Paradise." As part of the acclaimed duo Chloe x Halle, she released two critically praised albums: "The Kids Are Alright" in 2018 and "Ungodly Hour" in 2020. "The Kids Are Alright" garnered a Best Urban Contemporary Album nomination at the 2019 Grammys, where Chloe x Halle also received a nod for Best New Artist. "Ungodly Hour" earned a nomination for Best Progressive R&B Album at the 2021 Grammys.
"Love? Or Something Like It" will be released on Friday, October 24, under Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records. Bailey has described the project as telling “a story of first love, heartbreak, and everything that comes after…. this one means everything to me.” Fans have already had a taste of the album through previously released singles such as “Angel,” “In Your Hands,” “Because I Love You,” “Back and Forth,” and “Braveface,” all of which will be featured on the LP. Her debut solo single, “Angel,” previously earned Bailey a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Song last year, further building anticipation for her full-length project.
