These documents are listings of the numbers allocated to Local Weights and Measures Authorities and approved verifiers for identification purposes on items of weighing or measuring equipment. These lists cover those numbers used to indicate equipment which has been passed fit for use for trade in accordance with the Weights and Measures Act 1985 and those numbers used to indicate successful initial verification in accordance with the Measuring Instruments (EEC Requirements) Regulations 1988.
