Greyson Stevens, a wide receiver from south-central Washington, has committed to the Montana State football program, he announced Tuesday on social media.
Stevens is about to enter his senior season at East Valley High School in Yakima. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound wideout is a three-star recruit and the No. 38-ranked Class of 2026 prospect in the state of Washington, according to 247Sports.
“I'm very happy with my decision,” Stevens told 406 MT Sports. “They're a winning team — just played in the national championship — so that helped me a lot with my decision. They were willing to stick with me and showed me a lot of love. Very welcoming.”

I’d like to thank my family, teammates, coaches and the staff at Montana State for believing in me. Special thanks to @Murdock_02 @FarhanLaljiTSN and @CoachSammyMix go cats 🐱 pic.twitter.com/HDky3oMntc
Stevens also received a scholarship offer from Air Force, as did two programs that play with MSU in the Big Sky Conference: Idaho State and Portland State. Washington State and the Big Sky’s Eastern Washington and Montana showed interest too, he said.
MSU receivers coach Sam Mix played a large role in Stevens’ decision to commit, Stevens said.
“The whole staff really showed me love and what it is to be a Bobcat,” he added.
Stevens is friends with Parker Mady, a receiver from the Seattle area who's a member of MSU’s 2025 signing class.
Stevens made his college decision shortly after taking an official visit to Bozeman last week.
“Grateful and very blessed to be where I'm at right now,” he said.
Stevens made 54 catches for 1,025 yards and 12 touchdowns as a sophomore, and he caught 46 passes for 984 yards and 14 TDs last season, according to MaxPreps. He also plays basketball and runs track, with personal-bests of 10.96 seconds in the 100-meter dash and 22.94 in the 200. His speed and ability to find holes in defenses are two of his best football skills, he said.
Stevens is one of five known MSU commits in the Class of 2026. The other four are Polson offensive lineman Brody Bulette, Havre OL Tommy Lewis, Kalispell Glacier quarterback Jackson Presley, and Servite (California) OL Gavin Wilkins.
