Ghanaian earns top honors in US accounting program
A Ghanaian national, Raymond Acquah Johnfiah, has been named valedictorian after earning a Master of Science in Accounting and Analytics at Seattle University in Washington, USA.
Johnfiah’s achievement was highlighted in a post shared by EDHUB on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where his academic journey and professional growth were celebrated.
A proud alumnus of Adisadel College and the University of Ghana, Johnfiah worked for five years as an accounting professional in Ghana before pursuing graduate studies abroad.
His selection as valedictorian recognizes not only his exceptional academic performance but also his leadership qualities and contribution to the university community.
At the graduation ceremony, Johnfiah delivered the valedictory address, an honor reserved for the top student, where he encouraged his peers to pursue excellence and remain resilient in the face of global challenges.
Following his graduation, he has taken up a new role as a Financial Planning Analyst at Elm Street Technologies, a technology-driven company focused on real estate solutions.
