General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Prosper Harrison Addo, has failed in his bid to secure a seat on the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) Board.

Harrison Addo received 28 votes, falling short against competitors George Lamptey (34 votes), Delphina Quaye (53 votes), Kamal Sulley (50 votes), George Tettey (40 votes), and Richmond Quarcoo (46 votes) during the GOC elections held on Saturday.

The GOC board is composed of representatives from Olympic Sports (five slots), Non-Olympic Sports (one slot), Affiliate Bodies (one slot), and three Co-opted Members.

Meanwhile, Richard Akpokavie emerged as the newly elected President of the Ghana Olympic Committee.
