FIT/One Wuerzburg Baskets (BBL) signed 29-year-old 202cm center Eddy Edigin for the upcoming season. Edigin, who is well-known in the German BBL, most recently played for SYNTAINICS MBC Weissenfels. Last season, he averaged 8.9ppg and 6.1rpg in 17 BBL games. Edigin also had stints with Chemnitz earlier in the season. Throughout the year, he competed in three different competitions, allowing him to experience basketball at various levels. In 20 BBL games, he averaged 4.1ppg and 2.7rpg, while in 8 Basketball Champions League games, he posted 3.0ppg and 2.1rpg.
Edigin was a member of the German Under 20 National Team in 2015.
He has played previously for eight other teams: EnBW Ludwigsburg, Bamberg, Dragons Rhoendorf, Young Pikes, Leverkusen, Bayern, Noerdlingen, and Hamburg Towers.
Edigin's team reached the Bundesliga Semifinals in 2023. He was voted to Eurobasket.com German 2.Bundesliga Pro B All-Defensive Team in 2017.
