Basketball Club Batumi (Superleague) signed 31-year old ex-international center Gegi Baqradze (206cm-1994) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He played last season at Delta. In 29 Superleague games in Georgia, he had 8.7ppg, 7.1rpg, 2.2apg, and 1.1spg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Baqradze also played for Al Fateh Al Hasa (SBL) in the Saudi Arabian league. He was a member of the Georgian Senior National Team between 2018 and 2019.
Baqradze is a quite experienced player. He has played also in Bosnia (Bratunac), Estonia (TalTech), Saudi Arabia and Serbia (KK Tamis Pancevo) and Georgia (Rustavi, Amra Gagra and Iverioni).
Baqradze's team won the Georgian League Regular Season in 2021.
