A video circulating on social media showed Mosiria during a night patrol, cracking down on nightclubs violating noise pollution laws.
At the entrance of one establishment, Mosiria encountered two women and a man in a scuffle.
“You cannot cheat on me with a man; you are my woman,” one woman said.
“Why are you beating a woman?” Mosiria confronted the man.
However, the women defended the man, asking Mosiria to leave him alone.
“Why are you defending someone who wants to beat you?” he asked one of the women.
According to Mosiria’s office, the two young women, who are members of the LGBTQ community, were in distress.
“The man attempted to forcefully take one of them with him for the night.”
The man claimed he had spent all his money buying them drinks and insisted there was an agreement that he would leave with one of them.
However, when the women declined his advances, he became furious and attempted to take one of them by force.
Mosiria stepped in, de-escalated the situation, and ensured the safety of both women.
Kenyans had this to say about the video:
Tr. Bomba:
“I think I recognise one of the women.”
Trixx:
“Previously on the adventures of Geoffrey Mosiria and his team.”
Engineer Lameck Arege🇰🇪🇰🇼:
“Parents, come see your children.”
Zack Del:
“I swear I know one of those women.”
OFFERING ICT SOLUTIONS:
“Me I hate drama.”
NAYLAN OGUNA🇳🇬🇰🇪:
“In Nairobi, it takes a minute to get into trouble.”
In other news, Mosiria weighed in on the controversy surrounding businessman Khalif Kairo, who is facing mounting legal issues over undelivered vehicles.
Kairo was arrested and arraigned in court. In a viral video, Mosiria urged young men to avoid the temptation of living beyond their means to impress others, warning that such pressure often leads to financial ruin or crime.
Reflecting on Kairo’s once-glamorous lifestyle marked by private jets, first-class flights, and extravagant gifts for his partner, Wavinya Maria, Mosiria admitted that he too was once captivated by the flashy image.

He noted that many young people have felt compelled to pursue unrealistic lifestyles, often at great personal cost. Mosiria emphasised that true wealth is built over time and shouldn't be rushed through risky shortcuts.
He expressed hope that Kairo had learned from the experience and called for support rather than judgment. The incident, he suggested, serves as a reminder that what appears glamorous on the surface may have hidden consequences.
