Fuji Maestro Obesere to Wed Popular Sex Therapist as Second Wife

Popular Nigerian Fuji musician Abass “Obesere” Akande, also known as Omo Rapala, is set to marry sex therapist and relationship coach Yinka “Yinka TNT” Ayanda as his second wife. Obesere has been married to Abeni Tolanikawo for many years, a union that has produced children. This development was confirmed by Obesere’s manager, Arems Adeniyi, who stated that while the marriage is indeed happening, specific dates and venues have not yet been finalized.
Yinka TNT, a mental health nurse who previously worked as an air hostess before relocating to London, is widely recognized for her educational content on social media concerning sexual health, consent, contraception, safe practices, and relationships. In December 2024, she had revealed in an interview that she was married with children, though their identities were not disclosed, and her current marital status with that husband remains unconfirmed. She bases her popular sex program on her personal marital experiences and insights gathered from her social circle, rather than formal sexual therapy studies.
Earlier this month, Yinka TNT took to her social media platforms to announce that she had introduced the 60-year-old Ibadan-born singer to her family, sharing photos to validate the authenticity of their relationship. She also mentioned that an introduction video would be released on her Yoruba page, although checks indicated that this video had not yet been uploaded to her YouTube channel. Instead, a music video titled “Ololufe,” featuring her and Obesere, was released on September 7, depicting them in intimate domestic settings.
Addressing public reactions, Yinka TNT posted a video on her Facebook page, asserting that her marriage to Obesere is final and beyond anyone’s interference. She criticized those condemning Obesere for taking a second wife, suggesting they secretly desire him. She declared that anyone unhappy with her marital journey would face misfortune and prosperity. Furthermore, she cursed anyone who did not wish her and Obesere well in their union, emphasizing that critics cannot change her decision to marry the singer.
