German Power forward Christian Sengfelder (203-PF-1995) had a great game in the last round for JDA Dijon Bourgogne, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 29.
The 29-year old player had a double-double of 26 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Limoges (#14, 9-20) 89-83. JDA Dijon is placed at 6th position in French Betclic ELITE ProA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Dijon will need more victories to improve their 16-13 record. In the team's last game Sengfelder had a remarkable 73.3% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Christian Sengfelder averages this season 11.5ppg.

The second best player in last round's games was another Dijon's star - young international point guard Axel Julien (185-PG-1992). Julien had a very good evening with a double-double of 16 points and 11 assists. It was enough for JDA Dijon Bourgogne to edge the higher-ranked

Paris (#2, 22-7) 96-95. This victory allowed JDA Dijon to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 16-13 record is not bad and everything may still change. Julien is one of the most experienced players at JDA Dijon and similarly like Christian Sengfelder has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was international Wilfried Yeguete (202-C/F-1991) of

Le Mans Sarthe Basket (#8). Yeguete showcased his all-around game by recording 16 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Le Mans, leading his team to a 97-80 easy win against the higher-ranked ASVEL (#1, 23-6). Le Mans needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 16 victories and 13 lost games. Yeguete has a great season in France. After 29 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 6.9rpg (3rd best).

4. Adrian Nelson (203-F-1999) of Bourg - 18 points and 11 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
