“We noticed that our presence in the market has been low, which is the reason we decided to partner with Multivista to increase our presence in the Nigeria market and world at large.”

The Director, Multivista West Africa Limited, Mahesh Jayaraman, said the company has been in India for over 100 years and in the last 15 to 20 years, it has been spreading aggressively across the globe, now operating in over 60 countries globally.

He said in Africa, Multivista is present in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and has decided to establish in Nigeria because Nigeria is the largest market for generators in Africa.

He added that Multivista products have been well received in the market in the last two years. “I think it is the right time for us to showcase our new technology as we launch our newest smallest 1000 kv generator, which is officially going to be available in Nigeria markets very soon.

Similarly, Trackbond Energy Services Limited has partnered with a China-based manufacturing company, Tide Power, to expand clean energy solutions and address Nigeria’s longstanding power challenges.

The partnership was announced at the Tide Power Nigerian Branch Product Seminar, which brought together stakeholders from various sectors of the energy industry.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of Trackbond Energy Services, Joseph Adenuga, said that the partnership was driven by a shared vision to improve power availability across Nigeria and support the nation’s production capacity.

“We want to be the solution providers to the power problem in Nigeria, knowing the efforts our government is making towards the energy sector. Our partnership with Tide Power is because their vision for Nigeria aligns with our mission to deliver reliable energy solutions to the 37 states in Nigeria,” he said.

Adenuga noted that Trackbond Energy, which has operated in Nigeria for over two decades, has consistently supported both public and private sector energy needs and pledged to continue putting the best interests of the Nigerian market at heart.

Also speaking, President of Tide Power, Rex Tan, who reiterated the company’s commitment to Nigeria, disclosed that the company’s manufacturing plant in the country is to strengthen its operations and enhance after-sales service.

He said: “Tide Power manufactures gas and diesel generators, water pump sets and battery storage systems. We’ve had a presence in Nigeria for over seven years, and now, we are taking it further by setting up a stronger branch and local manufacturing facility to serve the market better, especially in the availability of spare parts.”

Tan emphasised that the company’s primary focus is to provide sustainable, affordable, and reliable energy solutions to the Nigerian market.
