Firm breaks ground on new factory

Tranos, a leading African engineering and manufacturing solutions provider, officially broke ground today on a world-class production facility in Mowe, Ogun State, marking a bold step toward realizing its mission to drive industrial innovation across the continent.
On a spacious land of 15.744 hectares (157,440 sqm), providing ample space for current operations and future expansion and designed to centralize all manufacturing disciplines, from raw-material processing to R&D, while fostering creativity, innovation, and high-performance work environments for employees.
Strategic Capabilities include the new complex which will feature cutting-edge facilities, including 800 MW/year Solar PV panel production line, Expanded gas generator assembly plant,Cable management systems manufacturing, Advanced power distribution panel production, Increased output of gaskets, enclosures, and racking systems
“The groundbreaking event is more than a construction milestone, it is an investment in Africa’s industrial future,” said Jude Abalaka, CEO of Tranos. “This campus will scale our production, create jobs, and deliver solutions aligned with Nigeria’s energy and infrastructure ambitions.”
On impact and Innovation, “The first phase will include a modern production floor and offices, with automation and Industry 4.0 features. The facility will protect existing jobs and generate hundreds of new roles, from engineers and technicians to production and administrative staff. “Employees will work in an environment designed with ergonomics, natural light, and advanced ventilation, aligned with global standards.”
