Finck-Boyle named senior vice president of AAPACN

The American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing has hired Janine Finck-Boyle as its senior vice president of engagement.

In this role on the organization’s executive leadership team., Finck-Boyle will lead efforts to support AAPACN members by highlighting the value of education and certification in driving quality improvement and resident outcomes.

A licensed nursing home administrator, Finck-Boyle brings more than two decades of leadership experience in the post-acute care sector. She most recently served as vice president of health policy and regulatory affairs for LeadingAge where she oversaw national policy initiatives.

“Janine is a recognized and respected leader among post-acute care providers. She brings a committed focus on quality and outcomes that is perfectly aligned with AAPACN’s goals,” said AAPACN CEO Tracey Moorhead.

Finck-Boyle called the move an “exciting opportunity to deepen engagement with post-acute care nurses and elevate the critical role they play in delivering high-quality care.”

“By expanding access to education, certification, and meaningful resources,” she added, “we can empower nurses to lead quality improvement efforts and create lasting impact for residents and the communities they serve.”

AAPACN represents more than 20,000 post-acute care nurses and professionals working in more than 7,200 facilities. Dedicated to supporting LTPAC nurses and healthcare professionals in providing quality care, AAPACN offers education, certification and other resources.
