Galactic Productions honored Kane's profound impact, stating, “Today we say goodbye to Tom Kane — a legendary voice actor whose work shaped the childhoods and imaginations of millions around the world.” The agency emphasized how Kane infused “wisdom, strength, humor and heart to every role he touched,” making his voice an indelible part of countless lives, memories, and stories. The statement concluded with a poignant farewell: “Though his voice may now be silent, the characters, stories, and love he gave to the world will live on forever. Rest in peace, Tom Kane. Throughout his extensive career, Tom Kane lent his distinctive voice to a multitude of memorable characters. In the “Star Wars” universe, he was notably the voice of Yoda in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” among other roles, and Admiral Ackbar in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.” He also portrayed Professor Utonium in Cartoon Network’s “The Powerpuff Girls” from 2016 to 2019.
