Falcons Mock Bill Belichick in Schedule Release Video

The Atlanta Falcons have released a schedule release video themed around Mario Kart 64, generating buzz for its creative jabs. The video features Falcons players like Bijan Robinson, Drake London, and Michael Penix Jr. as playable characters in "ATL Kart." The video recreates "Toad's Turnpike" with Atlanta and Mercedes-Benz Stadium as the backdrop, featuring rapper Ludacris counting down the race.
During the race, opponents appear as drivers, and the video takes an unexpected turn when it features characters seemingly portraying Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson on a beach, accompanied by a sign that reads, "We're not talking about this." This is a reference to Hudson's response when Belichick was asked in a CBS interview about how they met, which led to media attention and statements between Belichick and CBS. Belichick had interviewed for the Falcons job, which was later given to Raheem Morris.
The video may also include a jab at Tom Brady and the DeflateGate scandal, showing the New England Patriots' character's car with flat tires beside a "Free Air" sign when the Falcons' game against the Patriots was revealed.
The Falcons were considered favorites to win the NFC South after acquiring Kirk Cousins, who was later benched. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers ultimately won the title, and Atlanta finished with an 8-9 record.
