Lewis Hamilton is keeping busy ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix, but the seven-time F1 champion is a pro at juggling multiple ventures efficiently. The Ferrari driver made a stunning appearance at the London premiere of the upcoming film F1.
He is a co-producer of the film and was joined by lead actor Brad Pitt and the surprise guest of the star-studded night, Tom Cruise. Aston Martin technical director Adrian Newey and singer Ed Sheeran also walked the red carpet.
Lewis Hamilton worked very closely with F1 actors Brad Pitt and Damson Idris and director Joseph Kosinski during the making of the movie. He sported an all-black look at F1’s London premiere at the Cineworld Leicester Square theater.But it was Tom Cruise who made headlines at the premiere, where he was clicked with Brad Pitt 24 years after their last pictures together at a concert in 2001. The two legends greeted each other with a hug and a handshake and got to talking the moment they saw each other. Kosinski had directed Cruise’s blockbuster Top Gun: Maverick.
Tom Cruise even shared a couple of pictures on Instagram to document the moment forever. “Great night at the movies with my friends!! You guys crushed it!!” Cruise wrote in the caption alongside a picture of him with Brad Pitt posing in front of an F1 car and another in which he posed with Pitt, Kosinski, and others.
The event had celebrities from both the F1 fraternity and Hollywood on the red carpet. Williams Racing team principal James Vowles attended the premiere with his wife. Adrian Newey also made a rare appearance at the event. He was accompanied by his wife, Amanda Smerczak.

He was joined by rapper Will.i.am, model Naomi Campbell, and footballer Gareth Bale at the venue. Pitt was also joined by co-stars Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Will Merrick, Abdul Salis, Sarah Niles, Callie Cooke, and Kim Bodnia at the event. F1 music composer Hans Zimmer and singer-songwriter JJ Lin were also in attendance.
F1 will hit theatres on June 27.
