Explosive Fallout: Katie Price's Ex Leaks Shocking Cash Video, Peter Andre Seeks Legal Action!

A recently leaked video showing Katie Price, who has been declared bankrupt twice with debts exceeding £3 million, counting a large wad of cash has ignited further scrutiny of her financial affairs. In the footage, believed to have been filmed in late 2020 and released by her ex-husband Alex Reid, Price is seen relaxing on a sofa, stating she is “enjoying counting” the money and “just sorting it out”. When her daughter Princess enquired if she would contribute to her and Junior's school fees, Price responded dismissively, raising her middle finger and telling Princess that her “dad can sit on that”. She also mentioned that she would be in bankruptcy until next May and referred to a “London flat” she claims to own, which reportedly has not been traced by her bankruptcy trustees.
The video's release by former cage fighter Alex Reid, who is owed £175,000 in High Court damages and costs after Price allegedly revealed a sex tape without his consent, marks a significant escalation. Reid stated he is “spear-heading a campaign to expose the truth,” claiming it is about “evidence” and “reality” after years of silence. Price is heard in the video claiming she has “extended” her bankruptcy because “Alex Reid wants money from me and he won't be able to get it... he's an a***hole”.
The leaked video has also drawn a strong reaction from Price's other ex-husband, Peter Andre, who was reportedly “stunned” by the remarks, especially the comment suggesting his younger children with current wife Emily were “irrelevant”. A source close to Andre stated he would be taking legal advice, emphasizing that his concern was not about money but the comments made in front of their child. Price’s representatives issued a statement asserting that the cash in the video did not belong to Katie, and the property mentioned had been addressed in financial settlement proceedings arising from her divorce from Peter Andre. They also confirmed that Price had fully complied with the bankruptcy trustee’s investigations into the video.
Price was first declared bankrupt in 2019 over debts totaling £3.5 million, including nearly £1 million owed to HMRC. She faced a second bankruptcy in March last year for an additional £761,994 in unpaid HMRC demands for money earned while already bankrupt. Despite Price celebrating earlier this year on her podcast that she was “not bankrupt anymore” and calling it a “great achievement” after six years of “hell,” her bankruptcy trustee, Farheen Qureshi, confirmed that both bankruptcies are “still live and continuing” and that investigations are ongoing to seek “realisations from various third parties” for the bankruptcy estates.
