Ex-Arellano Chief Kentoy Segura slain in Cotabato
FORMER Arellano player Ken Fred "Kentoy" Segura was slain in a shooting incident in Cotabato late Wednesday.
In a report of 747 DXND Radyo Bida Kidapawan City, the victim was with his nephew and they were on their way to M’lang, Cotabato to play in a basketball game when he was shot inside his car. He got hit on his side and was rushed to the hospital but later on died.

He played for two seasons with the Chiefs, first in NCAA Season 94 where he appeared in 16 games and logged 8.5 minutes, averaging 3.1 points, 0.7 rebounds, and 0.8 assists as he teamed up with the likes of Michael Canete, Archie Concepcion, Ian Alban, and Levi dela Cruz under coach Junjie Ablan.
Segura saw his minutes dwindle the following year, playing only 4.0 minutes in 10 games under coach Cholo Martin as he played with Kent Salado, Justin Arana, and Gelo Sablan.
The Digos, Davao del Sur native would eventually take his act to the Roxas Vanguards, and later on in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) where he played for Quezon City-MG Cars and Bulacan Kuyas-Baliuag AcroCity. He last suited up for the Manila City Stars in Pilipinas Super League (PSL).
One of the two suspects were already apprehended by the police as of press time.

His family is crying for justice while also calling for assistance to help them in their hospital bills.
