The game between second ranked Mobis Phoebus (21-13) and ninth ranked Anyang (12-23) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night.

Mobis Phoebus were defeated by Anyang in a tough game in Anyang 78-85. It was a great evening for the former international point guard Jihoon Park (184-1995) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. American swingman Deonte Burton (193-1994, college: Iowa St.) helped adding 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. At the losing side American forward Shawn Long (208-1993, college: Louisiana, agency: Pensack Sports) responded with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Anyang have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to eighth place. Mobis Phoebus at the other side keep the second position with 13 games lost. They share it with LG Sakers. Anyang are looking forward to face higher ranked KCC Egis (#7) in Jeonju in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Mobis Phoebus will play on the road against Seoul Thunders (#9) and are hoping to win this game.
Bottom-ranked Skygunners managed to get a eleventh victory, breaking the series of four consecutive losses. This time they won against sixth-ranked Wonju DB in Daegu 86-82. It was an exceptional evening for Filipino Kevin Quiambao (193-2001) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds. DJ Burns Jr accounted for 12 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Skygunners' coach Byong-Chul Kim allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The former international swingman Kwang-Jae Lee (188-1984) came up with 29 points for Wonju DB in the defeat. Sono SG maintains tenth place with 11-24 record. Wonju DB lost fourth consecutive game. Defending champion keeps the sixth position with 20 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
KBL top team - Knights (27-7) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked KoGas (19-16) in Inchon 80-75. Jameel Warney fired 29 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Andrew Nicholson produced 23 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Seoul Knights maintains first place with 27-7 record. KoGas lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 16 games lost. Seoul Knights will meet at home Suwon KT (#4) in the next round. KoGas will have a break next round.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 31: bottom-ranked Sono SG lost to Suwon KT on the opponent's court 73-78. Wonju DB unfortunately lost to LG Sakers in a home game 61-76. Suwon KT managed to beat KCC Egis on the road 95-84. KoGas defeated Seoul Thunders on its own court 72-69.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 22 points and 9 rebounds by Kofi Cockburn of Seoul Thunders.

Very expected game in Busan where 10th ranked Skygunners (11-24) were defeated by fourth ranked Sonicboom (20-15)
