Every Performer Taking the Stage at the American Music Awards
The American Music Awards are back in a big way. After taking a two-year hiatus, the May 26 show is pulling out all the star power for its highly-anticipated return.
During the show, which will air live coast to coast from the Fontainebleau Las Vegas, host Jennifer Lopez will delight the crowd with a performance.
Janet Jackson, this year’s Icon Award recipient, will likewise take the stage. Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Rod Stewart is also set to perform.
The performances won’t end there, though. In addition to the night’s host and special award recipients, Benson Boone, Blake Shelton, Gloria Estefan, Gwen Stefani, Lainey Wilson, and Reneé Rapp are also scheduled to perform.
The star power isn’t just in the performances, but in the presenters too.
Alix Earle, Cara Delevingne, Ciara, Dan + Shay, Dylan Efron, Jordan Chiles, Kai Cenat, Megan Moroney, Nikki Glaser, Shaboozey, Tiffany Haddish, and Wayne Brady will all be on hand for the big night.
It’s no surprise some of the biggest names in entertainment are set to appear at the ceremony. The AMAs are the world’s largest fan-voted awards show, which honors today’s most influential artists and their passionate fanbases.
This year, Kendrick Lamar leads the nominees with 10 nods. Post Malone is close behind with eight nominations. Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Shaboozey each earned seven nods a piece.
Since the ceremony is taking place on Memorial Day, the show will pay tribute to U.S. troops and veterans. It will do so through authentic performances and unforgettable moments.
Additionally, the AMAs have partnered with Easy Day Foundation to present several special in-show moments that celebrate Veterans while raising funds for a variety of national and local organizations.
The 2025 American Music Awards will air live coast to coast on Monday, May 26 at 8:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM PT on the CBS Television Network, and stream on Paramount+ in the U.S.
