Alix Earle, the 24-year-old influencer and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, is set to trade her social media savvy for ballroom steps. She has been announced as the second celebrity contestant for season 34 of Dancing with the Stars.

Ms. Earle expressed her enthusiasm during an interview on Good Morning America on Thursday, may 22, stating she’s always been a fan of the show. She joins Robert Irwin,who was announced as the first celebrity contestant last month. Ms. earle said it was an easy yes when offered a spot.

Known for her engaging vlogs, Ms. Earle plans to share her experiences on the show, promising fans a look at all the backstage secrets. She is ready to vlog her experience and provide the inside scoop. She referenced last year’s season, which produced notable off-stage drama as partners Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko started dating. As someone who was glued to the TV last year with Dancing with the Stars and on social media, I’m like, give me the drama, what’s the tea, who’s dating, I wanna know, she said.

Ms. Earle’s dance background might give her a slight edge. I danced when I was little until my sophomore year of high school, she said on GMA. It wasn’t like I was that great or anything but… I would like to say I have some rhythm. However, she acknowledged the challenges ahead: I’ve never done ballroom dancing or dancing with a partner before, so that’s gonna be a whole new venture for me. [I’m] excited to get back in there and get training.

When asked about her preferred dance partner, she remained diplomatic: I would be grateful to be with anyone. She added that she’s just looking for a partner that’s gonna be a good time, a good friend and really push me to be my best.
