AX Armani Exchange Milano (Serie A) signed experienced 34-year-old American 205cm power forward Devin Booker (college: Clemson) for the upcoming season. He has played for the last two years at Bayern in the German BBL league. The team competed in three different competitions that year, giving him the opportunity to showcase his skills at various levels. In 32 BBL games, he averaged 11.7ppg, 5.0rpg, and 1.9apg last season. Despite finishing the regular season in second place, he helped them win the league title three times. Booker had an outstanding year, earning spots on the Eurobasket.com All-German League All-Defensive Team, All-Imports Team, and Second Team. In addition, he played 28 games in the Euroleague, averaging 14.9ppg, 4.7rpg, and 1.6apg. He was recognized for his performance with a selection to the Eurobasket.com Euroleague Honorable Mention team.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2013.
Booker is a very experienced player. He has played professionally in France, Russia, and Turkey. He has played for Sluc Nancy, Chalon/Saor, and JL Bourg in France, Khimki in Russia, and Fenerbahce in Turkey.
He received the Eurobasket.com All-EuroCup Player of the Year award and Eurobasket.com All-EuroCup Center of the Year award in 2018.
Booker graduated from Clemson University in 2013 and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball.
