He stood next to his gorgeous wife and their two adorable children.
The IEBC chairman lovingly placed his hand on his young son’s chest as they posed for a photo.
In the video, the young boy was seen holding onto his father’s legs, not wanting to let him go, and his mum had to talk him out of it.

In another video, while his family was requested to take photos, his daughters stood next to Ethekon.

Addressing concerns of presumed bias, he assured Kenyans that their aspirations cast at the ballot would be preserved under his tenure as chairman of the IEBC.
He said that his loyalty was to the people of Kenya.
Ethekon asked Kenyans to stand firm in their pursuit of democracy, which is brought about by an election.
He noted that the IEBC would need the people's help to reach its goal of protecting the country's and democracy's dignity through fair and free elections.
Little was known about the IEBC chairman before he was nominated for the position.
Ethekon is a decorated scholar who holds sterling academic credentials.
A photo of his flat roomed house in Turkana surfaced after his nomination.
The house had two decorative brick columns on the side.
The house was also surrounded by a mesh fence with a black metallic gate at the entrance.
The chair reportedly does not live in the house; a hired guard does.
