Following the tabling of a motion of censure against the European Commission, plenary will hold a debate from around 17:30, with one round of political group speakers. The debate will be attended by the Commission President, Ursula von der Leyen, who will also make a statement. A vote, by roll call, will take place on Thursday. To be adopted, the motion must secure a two-thirds majority of the votes cast, representing a majority of the component members.

From around 19:00 MEPs will discuss an own initiative report including proposals to manage the growing influx into the EU of substandard and potentially dangerous cheap goods from non-EU webshops and ease the burden on customs authorities. The vote will take place on Wednesday.
Immediately after the opening the session at 17:00, President Metsola will mark the 30th anniversary of the 1985 Srebenica massacre, the largest mass murder in Europe since World War II. There will be one round of statements by political group speakers.
. From around 18:15, MEPs will discuss the financial activities of the European Investment Bank (EIB) and more specifically its 2024 annual report, with EIB Vice-President Robert de Groot. A vote will take place on Tuesday.
. To close the evening’s agenda, MEPs will discuss, with a round of political group of speakers, Algeria’s arbitrary sentencing of Franco‑Algerian writer Boualem Sansal and journalist Christophe Gleizes.
