Crystal Palace midfielder and England international Eberechi Eze has celebrated his Igbo heritage by traditionally tying the knot with his wife, Izuthe Mulatto, in London.
The couple, who have been together since their teenage years, held the Igbo-themed ceremony on Friday.
Eze, born to Igbo parents from Mbaise, Imo State, donned the iconic Isiagu top, while elders wore traditional white garments and red caps, reflecting the communal customs of the Igbo people.
The footballer and his wife had legally married in a private ceremony on May 27, 2022.
Known for valuing their privacy, Izuthe has since deleted her Instagram account, though Eze occasionally shares glimpses of their life together on social media.
