Eagles Triumph! Nigeria Storms AFCON Semi-Finals with Dominant Win Over Algeria

The Super Eagles of Nigeria delivered a commanding masterclass performance, securing a dominant 2-0 victory over Algeria in their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) quarter-final match on Saturday at the Grand Stade de Marrakech. This triumph marked Nigeria’s 16th appearance in the last four of the AFCON, with this particular effort being hailed as one of the most unimpeachable en route to the semi-finals. Individual brilliance underpinned the team's success. Alex Iwobi delivered another midfield masterclass, dictating play, wriggling free from Algerian attempts to reduce his influence, and being instrumental in the build-up to both goals. Calvin Bassey was a colossal figure in defense, acting as a
