Dublin's new ARKET store finally gives opening date
For months, we've been not-so-patiently waiting for an update on the new ARKET shop coming to Dublin and at last, it's almost shopping time!
Fashion fans were delighted to hear earlier this summer that everybody's favourite Scandi shop was growing its presence in Ireland with plans for a flagship store on Dawson Street.
Now, we're hopefully just two weeks away from the new sprawling 810 square metres shop, which is set over two floors, from opening its doors.

All going to plan, the new ARKET is to open on July 31st (queue squeals from cool girls around the country) and we're already planning the outfits we can create.
The shop will house not only the womenswear collection but also the mens, childrenswear, body care, and interior design ranges as well as the ARKET café.

The café will serve a seasonal vegetarian menu, Nordic-inspired pastries and specialty coffee, with a focus on food creativity and natural flavours - sounds great for a mid-shopping treat!
While we've still a little time to wait for ARKET's launch on Dawson Street, that doesn't mean we can't put the research in and see what will be on the shelves.
It's never too early to think ahead to the next season and with the shops getting their Autumn/Winter collections in (despite the heatwave) we've spotted a few classic pieces to check out in store.
Take the cotton poplin shirt in a pastel pink and blue stripe (€69) that'd look chic with jeans or smart trousers for work, and the black stretch viscose dress (€99) that is perfect for desk-to-drinks days.

Last year's hot favourite colour brown also seems to be back for round two, although this time with more of a rust twist, and we've got our eye on the knitted cotton vest, priced at €59.

ARKET has also come through with plenty of denim options, with the tie closure oversized shirt (€89) looking like it's straight out of a Scandi girl's dream.

We're also tipping the cord-collar denim jacket (€139) for greatness and love its 'throw on and go' energy.
Speaking about the new Dublin store opening very soon, ARKET Managing Director Pernilla Wohlfahrt said: ‘We’re very excited to be opening our first ARKET location in Ireland with this beautiful flagship store in the centre of Dublin.

'We look forward to connecting with our local customers and inviting them to explore our vision for a more beautiful everyday life.'
