Dmanoj Pizza Copycat Brand Viral, Domino's Responds

An Indian pizza outlet named "D'manoj Pizza," styled as an imitation of the American chain Domino's, has captured the internet's attention. The roadside pizza place, as seen in an Instagram video by a content creator, features a blue color scheme similar to Domino's and advertises a "pure veg" menu with pizzas, pastas, burgers, and shakes. The tagline reads "The Real Taste of Pizza", and discounts are promoted outside the store.
The video begins with the creator stating, "Pehle America kehta tha, kya hai tu, ab hum kehte hai, tu kya hai, ye dekho, D'manoj Pizza" (Earlier, America would say, 'Who are you?' Now, we say, 'Who are you? Look at this, D'manoj Pizza."). Despite its modest setup, the creator claimed the pizza was "unexpectedly good."
The imitation quickly went viral, even drawing a reaction from Domino's official account, which commented, "Yahan ka address milega?" (Can I get the address to this place?) followed by emojis. Social media users joined in with humorous takes, with comments such as "Domynose Pizza," "Domino's (no) D'manoj (yes)," and imitations of other brands like "Kfc (no) K'asif (yes)" and "Starbucks (no) Sattaarbakhsh (yes)."
One user joked, “Brother Manoj has started selling pizza.” Someone joked, “Manoj was also from Italy.” The viral video has reached 27.8 million views.
