Popular gospel singer DJ Kezz, alias Rachel Keziah, has turned a new leaf in her spiritual journey.

The singer, who made a name for herself in the gospel scene, took to Instagram to share the deeply personal transformation, revealing that she had officially changed her religion and entered a new chapter of faith alongside her family.

Her revelation left fans stunned after she announced her conversion to Islam.

In a touching post, Kezz shared a photo of herself dressed in a full Muslim hijab and buibui, radiating joy.

The post came shortly after she shared another image with her daughter, both adorned in hijabs and henna, hinting at the spiritual shift before confirming it.

“Alhamdulillah. We’ve taken our Shahada. This is the beginning of the most beautiful chapter yet,” she wrote.

Kezz went on to offer insight into her decision, writing:

“My walk with God didn’t begin in church, and it didn’t end there. I’ve been walking a spiritual journey for years, asking hard questions, loving Jesus, studying faiths, and letting God speak in unexpected places. My choice to follow the Islamic path isn’t sudden, it’s sacred. It’s honest. It’s mine. I honor where I’ve been, and I honor where I’m going. Faith isn’t a box. It’s a calling. And I still answer.”

Her revelation sparked a frenzy on social media, with netizens flooding her comment section to share mixed reactions.
