Disney Starlight is a nighttime parade set to perform in the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort.
On August 11, 2024, it was announced that the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort would receive a nighttime parade in the summer of 2025, marking the first time the park has had a dedicated night parade since the departure of the Main Street Electrical Parade in 2016. Also announced that the parade would follow the traditional footsteps of the Main Street Electrical Parade, albeit consisting of new technology to tell new stories unlike what happened in Electrical Parade and SpectroMagic. It was then revealed that characters from Peter Pan, Encanto, and Frozen would appear in the parade as indicated in concept art, such as the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio, Peter Pan and Wendy, Elsa (in her Frozen II outfit), Mirabel, Isabela, and Bruno Madrigal from Encanto.[1][2]
On November 9, 2024, a Moana-themed float was revealed at D23 Brazil as one of the parade floats coming to the Magic Kingdom for its nighttime parade as seen through concept art, depicting Moana sailing on her boat, Pua, Heihei, and Gramma Tala in her manta ray form.[3]
It was later revealed that it would be called Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away.
On January 18, 2025, a Princess-themed float was revealed.
Recent day, more information of the parade unit revealed, such as Disney Friends unit with Zootopia, Wreck-It Ralph, Big Hero 6, Toy Story and Monsters, Inc. and also the final Mickey and Friends unit, while the soundtrack of these two units predicted[4]
"Disney Starlight" is a nighttime parade set to perform at Main Street, U.S.A. at the Magic Kingdom. The parade consists of state-of-the-art technology with magic brought to life by the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio with parade floats inspired by Disney animated films, such as Peter Pan, Frozen, Encanto, Moana, and many other Disney classics.
