Digital Siege: North Korean Hackers Unleash 'BeaverTail' Malware on Crypto Sector!

A recent report from The Hacker News has brought to light a significant cybersecurity threat: North Korean hackers are actively targeting non-developer job applicants within the cryptocurrency sector. These malicious actors employ sophisticated tactics to deploy malware strains known as BeaverTail and InvisibleFerret, designed to steal sensitive information such as login credentials and cryptocurrency wallets. The warning extends to both macOS and Windows users, urging caution against suspicious downloads originating from platforms like GitHub or Vercel, as well as unfamiliar scripts.
