Diabetes-Inducing Delights: Mum's Grocery Haul Stuns Shoppers with 32 Pizzas and 14 Blocks of Cheese!

A mother-of-three, known on TikTok as @boymomx3_b, has faced severe backlash after showcasing a massive grocery haul that included an overwhelming quantity of processed foods. The 37-year-old, who works full-time and resides in North Carolina, explained that the significant purchase was intended to feed her three sons and her parents, who have recently moved in with her. To gather all the items, the mother visited four different stores.
The extensive grocery list revealed a clear preference for convenience and sugary products. Among the most notable purchases were a staggering 32 frozen pizzas and 14 large blocks of various cheeses. The haul also included two large boxes of mini brownies, a huge pack of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, a big box of Oatmeal Cream Pies, several cereal bars, tea, five big bags of frozen fries, two large jars of mayonnaise, nine large bottles of sugary fizzy drinks, and multiple packs of Oreos and other sugary cereals. In stark contrast to these items, the fresh produce section of her cart contained only two cucumbers, lettuce, grapes, some bananas, and a huge watermelon. The mother humorously noted that she had cleared the frozen aisle of pizzas, stating, "We took all they had."
The viral video, which has garnered over 5 million views, also revealed the total cost of the shopping trip: $476.68 (£352.33). The mother expressed her dismay over the expense, captioning her video, "Why do groceries have to cost so much." However, viewers were not focused on the cost but rather on the perceived unhealthiness of the diet the mother was providing for her family. Thousands of TikTok users slammed the "boy mum" for what many described as a "diabetes-inducing" diet.
Comments poured in, with one user exclaiming, "NINEEEE bottles of soda THIRTY TWOO pizzas and like two cucumbers is wild." Another user bluntly stated, "Diabetes is around the corner." Critics highlighted the imbalance in her purchases, with one person writing, "You spent nearly $500 on groceries, and only bought 6 pieces of fresh produce." Another comment pointed out, "You bought more bottles of dr pepper than you did vegetables." Despite the widespread criticism, the mother remained defiant, offering a simple retort to her haters: "Don’t watch then."
