Denise Richards' Private Turmoil: 'Shameful' Over Ex's Alleged Nude Leak

Denise Richards has publicly addressed one of the most agonizing experiences of her life: the emotional distress caused by the alleged leaking of explicit photos by her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers. The 53-year-old "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum revealed that the scandal has not only affected her deeply personally but has also had a severe impact on her three daughters: Sami and Lola Sheen, from her previous marriage to Charlie Sheen, and her youngest, Eloise, who was adopted by Aaron.
During court proceedings on October 6, 2025, Denise testified about the profound embarrassment and shame she felt as a mother, stating, "It’s been difficult for my daughters, especially with the naked photos." She highlighted that her daughter Lola, who had recently been baptized and was actively involved in her church, found the public exposure particularly devastating, to the point where she "couldn’t go to church."
The serious allegations against Aaron Phypers first emerged in court documents filed on July 28. Denise accused him of flagrantly violating a temporary restraining order by disseminating her private photos and text messages to the media. She explicitly claimed that Aaron had stolen this sensitive content from her personal laptop. In response, Denise petitioned the court to mandate the return of her devices and to impose a definitive halt on his sharing of any further private information.
While the court did grant Denise a restraining order, her crucial request for the return of her laptop and other personal belongings was regrettably denied. She subsequently emphasized that retrieving these items had become an even more paramount concern. The day after the restraining order was issued, Aaron Phypers conducted an interview where he openly admitted to accessing her laptop and reviewing her private messages. In swift response, Denise’s legal team issued a stern warning, demanding an immediate cessation of sharing her personal content.
Despite the legal warning, within days, another article surfaced. This publication featured explicit images and messages that Denise unequivocally stated were "stolen by Aaron." She provided detailed descriptions of the leaked photos, which included "a picture of me with my b**** completely exposed and another picture of my b******." Additionally, the article reportedly contained "a picture of my phone being held by Aaron’s hand with my private text messages." Denise further alleged that Aaron informed the outlet he had discovered 107 "raunchy text messages" on her phone.
Expressing her profound distress, Denise stated, "I am in extreme distress and greatly disturbed since Aaron has been repeatedly disseminating private text messages stolen from my laptop after the TRO has been issued." She underscored the gravity of Aaron's actions, asserting, "Aaron accessing my private information on my laptop and disseminating the information is not only abuse and a violation of the TRO, but the disseminating of nude photographs is a criminal act." Aaron Phypers had initiated divorce proceedings on July 7, citing "irreconcilable differences" after six years of marriage, with court records indicating the couple's separation on July 4.
